Being stubborn as we are, HOME stands for getting the full musicality and sound out of your projects. With the focus on the end result, we will customize every project to its needs.

The desired sound needs to be achieved by finding the right balance between instrument / acoustic / pre-amp / microphone / signal flow. For every project we will look for the best room/venue with the specific acoustical characteristics that the project needs. Then we will choose out of our wide range of new and vintage pre-amps and microphones for the right sonic features. Some signals may benefit by sending it thru a specific signal path to thicken or alter the dry input sound.

Having had lots of experience experimenting with microphone placing and routing during my work in Holland and the UK the goal is to get as much of the desired sound directly on tape. No need to “fix it in the mix”

The HOME engineer, Tom Van Haute, has experience with recordings for EMI, Sony/BMG, Blue Note Recordings, Atlantic Records, Motown France, Virgin and others.

HOME offers professional Live recordings up to 48 channels simultaneously. With our mobile ProTools HD2-set fueled by the very nice SSL Alpha link audio convertors we can tackle any of your Live audio registration needs.

There are several possibilities for getting the desired sound on HD. We can tap the direct outs from the FOH house desk or run a separate signal flow with our own range of new and vintage pre-amps and microphones.
